Traditoinal Clothing

Another staple of Japanese culture is their attire. The kimono is something many people think about when they think of Japanese clothing. The kimono is formal attire that is worn to many events. The Yukata is similar to a kimono, but not the same. It is worn during the cherry blossom festival. Zori is the formal sandals you usually see when they wear formal attire. They wear Tabi with them, which are the special socks that separate the toes to be able to wear sandals (credit for all information from Japan Talk.)
